Our Mission

      The Tennessee Reflexology Association (TRA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes the ethical and legal practice of Reflexology through information and education.  TRA encourages the professional advancement of Reflexology.

     Its mission is to elevate and standardize the quality of Reflexology services available to the public in the State of Tennessee. The TRA works to unify and support individuals in order to create unity towards greater excellence and integrity.

     Its mission is also to promote and modeling wellness through touch; professionalism through education; knowledge through inquiry; and caring through community service.

     The TRA is dedicated to keeping its members informed of new methods and techniques, pending legislation, and fostering of community awareness of the Reflexology profession.

Advantages of Becoming a Member

• The TRA servers as a sentinel to keep members informed of legislative activity and State of Tennessee regulations pertaining to Reflexology.

• The TRA keeps members informed of upcoming evens via a membership newsletter.

• TRA sponsors an annual business meeting held in October and an annual spring and fall seminar/workshop that features educational opportunities in Reflexology.  Examples of past workshops include, non-surgical face-lifts, ice therapy, ear candling, and aromatherapy.

• Members are listed in the Member Directory on the TRA website.  This allows the Reflexology professional to learn of other members in the TRA who live in his/her area for networking and sharing of information.
